Phoenix-Charlotte: 128-97
Unlike the Jazz, the Hornets suffered from their clumsiness from the start (3 points on 6/25). Charlotte puts itself in a hole by shooting 6/23 in the first quarter. To help him dive, Cam Johnson scored 16 points in seven minutes without missing a shot. After twelve minutes, “Suns” is already 21 points ahead.
A few minutes later, the gap increases to 30 units. The Hornets finally responded and ended the first period 27-8. As against Memphis, Chris Paul and his team therefore struggled to maintain their large lead, even this time there was no need to fear, because Phoenix would take the game and apply it calmly.
