Exclusive auction in Paris

RM Sotheby’s is holding an auction on February 1, 2023 at Salle du Carrousel, 99 rue de Rivoli, Paris. This is a big event because the lots are simply exceptional with several hypercars past and present as well as models from the world of motorsport.

This sale will celebrate its 10th anniversary on February 1st. Overview of available models:

Bugatti Chiron Simplified

Although production is limited to 500 copies, the Bugatti Chiron has many options. There was the Chiron Sport, Chiron Super Sport 300 Plus and Chiron Pur Sport. There is an exceptional but lesser-known final version: the Chiron Profilée, a unique model developed by the Molsheim company.

Engineers have developed a new version of Chiron to fill the gap in their range. It was a less radical model, more geared towards grand touring than the Chiron Pur Sport. The Bugatti Chiron Profilée combines the very elegant design of the “base” Chiron with the driving characteristics of the Chiron Pur Sport. Equipped with the mythical W16 engine, the Chiron Profilée can reach a speed of 380 km/h. Thanks to its 1,500 horsepower, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and 0 to 300 km/h in 12.4 seconds.

This unique copy for sale has covered a total of 396 km, which corresponds to the brand’s test mileage for all its products to ensure that there are no defects. It is estimated between 4.2 and 5.5 million euros.

McLaren Senna LM

This Senna-produced hypercar passed through the hands of the MSO (McLaren Special Operation) department, which made some modifications. In addition to receiving engine changes, the Senna LM receives custom vented front wings and LM badging incorporated directly into the carbon fiber touch. These markings are present on the tips of the fins as well as on the hindwings. The car is fitted with four OZ five-spoke center-nut wheels, a reference to the F1 GTR.

As surprising as it may seem, the Senna LM is adapted for the road, it is the perfect compromise between the standard Senna and the track-dedicated Senna GTR. The 4.4L twin-turbo V8 it carries makes 814 horsepower, 25 times more than the “base” Senna. Although McLaren hasn’t released any performance figures for the car, it definitely outperforms the production version.

The copy for sale has only 43 km on the odometer. McLaren Senna LM was produced in only 20 copies. It is also one of seven Orange Papaya replicas. It is estimated between 1.4-1.6 million euros.

Ferrari Enzo

Every time a Ferrari Enzo is relaunched, it’s an event. Ferrari Enzo, created in honor of Commandatore Enzo Ferrari, was introduced in October 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. Like the F40, the Enzo pushed the boundaries of road-going sports car performance for its time. Designed in collaboration with Pininfarina, it still maintains its breathtaking beauty today. The Enzo was powered by a 5,998 cc V12 engine producing 660 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful and most expensive models of its time.

This copy was intended for the French market, newly delivered by Charles Pozzi. With only 17,474 km on the clock, this Ferrari Enzo is in original black with black ‘Pelle Nera’ interior. The real advantage of this mythical car is its Red Book, which is actually a certificate of authenticity from the Ferrari Classicche department, which confirms that the car has all the original elements.

This copy is estimated between 3.8 and 4.2 million euros.

McLaren Speedtail

Following the Senna LM’s tribute to the F1 LM, here comes McLaren’s modern reinterpretation of its legendary McLaren F1. Called the Speedtail, the car, like the F1 of its era, is the brand’s fastest passenger car. Thanks to the 4.0 L biturbo V8 engine, as well as an electric motor, the McLaren Speedtail has a total of 1070 horsepower. The car can reach a top speed of 403 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 300 km/h in just 12.8 seconds, three tenths less than the “base” Bugatti Chiron in the same exercise.

Like the F1, the Speedtail is a three-seater and, with its thin and elongated body, houses these engines in a more refined envelope. The latter features a revolutionary active aerodynamic system with deformable carbon fiber wings. The paintwork of this copy is very specific, done by MSO, with a green “XP Green” color on the front that progresses to black on the back.

With only 114 km on the odometer, this McLaren Speedtail is considered new. A total of 106 copies were produced, chassis number 30 is offered for sale. Its price is estimated between 2.2 and 2.6 million euros.

Ferrari 275 GTB/4 by Scaglietti

The Ferrari 275 has been the star of auctions for several years now, along with its sister 250. Although less highly rated than the 250 and especially the 250 GTO, the 275 remains a highly sought-after model. Built to fund a racing team, Ferrari’s touring cars of this era are nothing more or less than racing cars to which the brand has added turn signals.

The 275 GTB is part of a great lineage of V12-powered Ferrari GTs, both at home on the track and on Italy’s main highways. This copy is presented in gray “Grigio Argento” livery and “Black Conolly Pelle Nera” leather interior. This 275 underwent a complete restoration between 2012 and 2016. Like the Enzo, this 275 GTB is also certified Red Book and Ferrari Classicche.

Only 330 examples of the 275 GTB/4 were built between 1966 and 1968. The price of the copy, which went on sale on February 1, is estimated between 3.1 million euros and 3.3 million euros.
