G42, OceanX, G-Tech and Indonesian government to collaborate to advance ocean research to protect marine environment

The Letter of Intent was signed by Mohammad Firman Hidayat, Acting Assistant Minister for Marine Resources Coordination, Peng Xiao, CEO of G42 Group, Vincent Pieribone, Vice President of OceanX, and Michelle Hamilton, CEO of G-Tech.

This collaboration will support the CMMAI-led Indonesian government’s goals to improve the management of marine resources, including biodiversity and ecosystem protection, using new technologies and methodologies, as well as OceanX’s broader mission. exploring the ocean and communicating it to the world through educational media.

The project recognizes the importance of detailed mapping of marine resources through advanced technologies to preserve and protect the ocean environment and the livelihoods of communities that depend on it.
